“I am interested in stories, people & connection. As a director and story animator/artist, I have learnt to be attentive to movement and detail, composition and content. I like to observe people, who unwittingly create a mood as they gather or occupy space, whether they relate to each other or are in isolation. I find people and their environments an unending source of inspiration and fascination. I enjoy my career in film and animation, but I also like to get out onto the streets and create work from the inspiration around me. The street people of inner city Sydney are amongst the most genuine and forthright people that I know." 

Cindy is currently a Children’s TV Series Director working with Cheeky Little Media in Sydney. Her creative career developed in the animation industry, in which she has been working and teaching in since 1984. Being proficient across many areas of the animation pipeline (storyboard, design, animation) has lead to a natural evolution into directing. Cindy enjoys working as a team player to bring out the best in people and create wonderful content for audience viewing.

Her personal artwork is expressive and emotive reflecting her own style and interests, which has developed significantly across the past few years through a love and exploration of line with the use of ink and charcoal as primary mediums. She has has two successful sell -out exhibitions of her drawings.
